The book of Revelation has long been a source of conversation among Christians. Sometimes the conversation is due to disagreements about how to interpret specific passages. For example, “are you post-, pre- or a-millennial?” is a common question that arises from the study of Revelation. At other times the conversations about Revelation revolve around the apocalyptic language that is used, and how to best understand/interpret that language. We will talk about this more as we proceed through the book. Another source of conversation is that for some Christians Revelation is a frightening book and one which they have not yet read or studied.
